CFO Conducts Website Analytics Training to BaLinkBayan LGU Partners

The BaLinkBayan Team of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) conducted a website analytics training to 43 focal persons and IT personnel from 24 partner Local Government Units on July 13, 2021. 

A joint project of the CFO Project Management Division (PMD) and Management Information System Division (MISD), the training aims to introduce and familiarize LGU partners with the basic features of MonsterInsights plug-in and Google Analytics that will capacitate them in the evaluation and development of their websites.

In his welcome remarks, CFO Chairperson and Secretary. Francisco P. Acosta extended his gratitude to the participants and expressed his hope that the training will enable partner LGUs in evaluating their respective portals and perform necessary improvements for better implementation.

During the training, MISD’s Ms. Alyssa Jeanne Gozo discussed the fundamental tools built in MonsterInsights and Google Analytics which are used in tracking online traffics and managing website activities of the localized BaLinkBayan Portal.

Meanwhile, Ms. Marjorie Aboga led a live demonstration of the process to ensure engaging and inclusive participation among local project managers and IT personnel.

Usec. Astravel Pimentel-Naik delivered the training’s closing remark.

Bearing relevant knowledge and skills, Undersecretary Astravel Pimentel-Naik lauded the participants and entrust to them the responsibility of using their learnings to analyze the needs and situation of our kababayan overseas in order to provide appropriate help and excellent service.
