  • REGION IX

    Also known as the Zamboanga Peninsula, Region IX is composed of the following provinces: Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga Sibugay, and Zamboanga del Sur. With one thirds of its population composed of minorities/indigenous people, the region has a rich and diverse culture. The area is hilly and some with high elevation. The area is also teeming with natural resources, yet there is little utilization of natural resources. According to CDA, there are around 699 cooperatives in the region. The co-ops from this region produces, manufactures, and sell the following products:

    > Pickled vegetables
    > Squash pastries
    > Chicken and pork longanisa
    > Handcrafted accessories made out of native textiles like abaca (bags, wallets, etc.)
    > Pure cacao and other tablea products (several kinds of chocolate bars)

  • REGION X

    Also known as Northern Mindanao, Region X is composed of the following provinces: Bukidnon, Camiguin, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, and Lanao del Norte. Majority of its land portion is actually considered as forest land. With waters around it, marine life is abundant as well. The region boasts of high elevation and abundant vegetation that makes for fertile and arable land. Additionally, the region has a cool and mild climate. According to CDA , there are around 1,454 cooperatives in the region. The co-ops from this region produces, manufactures, and sell the following products:

    > Dried tilapia
    > Cow milk and other dairy products (chocolate milk, ice cream, bottled fresh milk, cakes and pastries, etc.)
    > Yacon root products (syrup, extract, tea, ice cream, crackers, truffles, etc.)
    > Moringa products (juice, tea, etc.)
    > Natural fruit juices
    > Pineapples and other pineapple products (jam, dried pineapples, etc.)

  • REGION XI

    Also known as the Davao Region, Region XI is composed of Compostela Valley, Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental, and Davao Occidental. The region is the center of trade and investments in Mindanao and boasts of a sustainable environmental landscape. The main industries that flourishes in the region are agriculture, agribusiness, trade, and tourism. The region is becoming highly urbanized due to the region’s rise as commercial and industrial hub in Mindanao. According to CDA, there are about 1, 207 cooperatives in the region. The co-ops from this region produces, manufactures, and sell the following products:

    > Pure cacao and other tablea products
    > Production of textile products and other RTW apparel
    > Virgin coconut oil
    > Coco vinegar

  • REGION XII

    Also Known as SOCCSKSARGEN Region, Region XII is composed of the following provinces: South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Sarangan. The region has extensive coastline and mountain ranges. With this, the region is also very rich in natural resources. According to CDA, there are 887 cooperatives in the region. The co-ops from this region produces, manufactures, and sell the following products:

    > Carabao Milk and other dairy products (bottled chocolate milk, bottled fresh milk,ice cream, etc.)
    > Organic black rice
    > Virgin coconut oil
    > Healthy snacks like coconut clusters and banana chips
    > Handwoven textiles
    > Handcrafted accessories made out of native textiles like abaca (bags, wallets, malong, necklaces, etc.)
    > Ground coffee and rice
    > Vinegar
    > Cow milk and other dairy products (chocolate milk, bottled fresh milk, yogurt, etc.)
    > Vermicomposting and Silage making
    > Calamansi concentrate and juices

  • REGION XIII

    Also known as the Caraga Region, Region XIII is composed of the following provinces: Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur. Caraga has mountainous areas, rolling hills, and forest lands. However, the region also boasts of rich marine resources as it faces the Pacific coast. According to CDA, there are about 829 cooperatives in the region. The co-ops from this region produces, manufactures, and sell the following products:

    > Wood products and steel works (modified wheelchairs, school armchairs, etc.)
    > Bottled tuna and bottled uyap (fermented fish paste)
    > Assorted dried fish
    > Pure cacao and other tablea products
    > Corn and moringa powder
    > Coconut products (virgin coconut oil, coco sugar, etc.)
    > Peanut products (peanut butter, brittle, bottled peanuts, etc.)
