  • REGION VI

    Also known as Western Visayas, Region VI is comprised of the following provinces: Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental. Some industries that are thriving in this area are Agribusiness, Agriculture, Mining, and Tourism. According to CDA, there are around 904 cooperatives in the region. The co-ops from this region produces, manufactures, and sell the following products:

    > Coconut Oil Milling and Coconut Coir processing
    > Coconut and byproducts (coconut oil, coconut fibers, textiles, etc.)
    > Copra cakes (byproduct from the mechanical oil extraction of copra)
    > Coco peat (bio fertilizer)
    > Crude oil
    > Geonet (nets used to control soil erosion on sloping lands)
    > Hablon weaving and Handcrafted accessories made out of native textiles like piña, abaca, and cotton fibers (bags, wallets, etc.)
    > Carabao Milk and other dairy products (milk bar, bottled flavored milk, bottled fresh milk, etc.)
    > Muscovado sugar
    > Bottled natural juices (calamansi, mango, moringa, lemongrass)

  • REGION VII

    Also known as Central Visayas, Region VII is composed of the following provinces: Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor. Central Visayas is actually the second smallest region in the Philippines yet the fourth largest regional economy, as various industries are abundant in this region. It can be attributed to their natural resources as well as the infrastructure available in the area. Agriculture, tourism, ICT & IT services and infrastructure, are some of the leading industries in Central Visayas. According to CDA, there are about 938 cooperatives in the region. The co-ops from this region produces, manufactures, and sell the following products:

    > Moringa, Ginger, and Turmeric products (Pure Moringa powder, Moringeric (Moringa + Turmeric) powder, and Pure Turmeric powder, tea)
    > Essential oils (Liniment oil, herbal ointment, massage oil)
    > Carabao milk and other dairy products (chocolate milk, ice cream, bottled fresh milk, cakes and pastries, etc.)
    > Cassava chips
    > Squash crackers
    > Coco sugar
    > Pure cacao and other tablea products
    > Coco peat and coco fiber
    > Bottled sardines and bottled tuna
    > Bottled tuna
    > Vinegar
    > Virgin coconut oil

  • REGION VIII

    Also known as Eastern Visayas, Region VIII is composed of the following provinces: Biliran, Eastern Samar, Leyte, Northern Samar, Samar, and Southern Leyte. It lies on the easternmost coast of the Philippines. Because of that, this region is usually in the trail of monsoons and typhoons. However, because of its geography and topography, the region is teeming with natural resources. According to CDA, there are about 734 cooperatives in the region. The co-ops from this region produces, manufactures, and sell the following products:

    > Handcrafted accessories made out of native textiles like piña, abaca, and cotton fibers (bags, wallets, etc.)
    > Carabao Milk and other dairy products (bottled chocolate milk, bottled fresh milk, etc.)
    > Coconut and byproducts (desiccated coconut, coco coir hanks, coco wine, coco vinegar, etc.)
    > Moringa products (powder, tea, noodles, etc.)
    > Ginger and Turmeric products (powder, tea, pastries)
    > Native delicacies like moron rice cakes and corioso cookies
    > Sambong powder
    > Healthy snacks like kamote chips and banana chips
    > Peanut products (bottled peanuts, peanut butter)
